the actual skill required is 'show up on time and be thorough.' no degree covers that.
posted a job recently and HR added degree required without asking me. I removed it. they put it back.
the degree requirement is a filter, not a qualification. they're filtering for desperation.
my manager approved my time off. then scheduled a mandatory all-hands over it.
'unlimited PTO' where nobody takes any because nobody dares to be first

companies that list 'passion' as a requirement just mean they want to underpay you
I have a master's degree and make less than that. the system is not malfunctioning. it's working as designed.
