every company that introduced this saw PTO usage go down. they know.
worse than capped PTO because with caps you have a number. with unlimited you have social anxiety.
I've accepted it as part of life and I hate that I've accepted it
hard agree. the audacity is off the charts.
took two weeks once. came back to 600 emails and a guilt trip in standup.
the 'unlimited' is load-bearing. they're not paying it out when you leave.
my manager approved my time off. then scheduled a mandatory all-hands over it.
my job description has changed completely since I was hired. my salary has not.
companies that list 'passion' as a requirement just mean they want to underpay you
we just had a meeting to align on the agenda for next week's meeting
If you can’t take your own PTO then you’re the problem
